CPI TMD Technologies

CPI TMD Technologies operates from Hayes, Middlesex as part of the US-headquartered CPI Electron Device Business, tracing its history back to the Thorn Microwave Devices name adopted in 1989 and, before that, to EMI-Varian in 1969. The Hayes site designs and manufactures microwave amplifiers and power sources, including instrumentation amplifiers used in EMC immunity testing. It operates alongside CPI's Beverly Microwave Division in the US as one of two primary manufacturing locations for the Electron Device Business.
